Our services:

Initial ECG cardiac check
An ECG records the rhythm and electrical activity of your heart. The ECG is a simple and quick test that is undertaken as part of a routine health check or when heart disease is suspected.

Clinical assessment with a Consultant Cardiologist

One of our Consultant Cardiologists will undertake a clinical assessment which will involve looking at your medical history and some routine examinations.

Echocardiography (Echo)
Echo is a diagnostic technique using ultrasound to provide information about the structure (anatomy) and mechanical functions (haemodynamics) of the heart. Digitised 2D images of the working heart are obtained, as well as measurements and visualisation of blood flow within it. Together this information allows precise identification and quantification of abnormalities such as heart attack (MI), valve disease and congenital heart disease.

Treadmill Test (Stress ECG)
This ECG is recorded while you are exercising on a treadmill (similar to a walking or running machine). The stress ECG shows doctors the pattern of your heart activity during exercise or stress and is a valuable tool in the diagnosis of chest pain and other cardiac conditions.

*The initial ECGcheck and clinical assessment form the initial cardiac check and must be taken together. Following this further tests are offered as required.
